WordPress have just released their latest version, and as always it’s name after a jazz legend – this time it’s organist Jimmy Smith.
In a nutshell, this release is all about you; the WordPress publisher, making it easier than ever to edit text and images, make use of audio and video and preview your widgets and themes. WordPress are doing a fantastic job of “closing the gap between your vision and your content“, i.e. what you see in your editing window is now a much closer representation of what displays on your website.

WordPress 3.9 is available for download and installation right now. Just go to the WordPress.org website or existing users can update from their dashboard.
