Here’s our six must have pieces of information about your business to include on your website:
- What you do
You might think this is obvious, but we’ve spotted websites that don’t include company information about what they do. Make it concise and write it in a way that anyone can understand even if you are talking to other businesses. Tell the story about your business and if you can, include some great images. Be sincere, demonstrate your expertise and use facts.
- Contact information
Provide as much contact information as possible in addition to your contact form: phone number, postal address and even your social media links like Facebook and Twitter because these days customers like to communicate with you using these methods. Your contact information should be easy to find from your home page.
- Directions or map
Embed or link to Google Maps if you can and directions are great too. Include any public transport information here, especially if you are trying to drive people to visit your premises.
- Case studies
Case studies are an excellent way to showcase what you can do for a customer or a client. Give a detailed summary of the service you provide to the customer and then include a testimonial. Use lots of great images of the service or product you provided.
- FAQs
There are often common or Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) that people ask about your service or product. This could be shipping information, prices, how long someone might expect to wait for a service to be carried out and so on. You could look at previous customer enquiries to see what your FAQs are.
- Blog
Ok so a blog isn’t necessarily about your business, but a Blog demonstrates that you are an expert in your field while providing content for your website. Sometimes your blog may be about your business or information about your industry.
