WordPress have just released their latest update – ‘Parker’ – which brings with it a slick new interface that will make updating your site on any device a much happier experience!
The new layout is clean and spacious, making it feel more modern and user friendly. It also comes with a new theme for the new year – Twenty Fourteen – which will let anyone create a magazine style website.
They have also introduced “vector-based icons that scale to your screen”. So by saying goodbye to pixels, pages apparently load significantly faster.
WordPress 3.8 is available for download and installation right now. Just go to theWordPress.org website or existing users can update from their dashboard.
Oh, and in case you were wondering, those jazz loving folks at WordPress named this release “Parker” in honour of Charlie Parker, bebop innovator and musical legend.
